KWAI is arrested. HUNG comes to realize he has misunderstood KWAI and heads back to break the news to YU. YU has got no choice. She decides to sign a life-long contract with the brothel so that she will have enough money to bribe the prison guards. TIN has bid a great deal of money for YU’s first night, during which YU is only asked to give a guzhang performance. This makes YU believe that TIN is a real gentleman. KWAI is released. HUNG feels so guilty towards her that he promises to help raise money for her and her sister.
